Microsoft’s great performance at Gamescom 2021
Update: Xbox Series X is now sold out at AO
Since its launch in November of last year, the Xbox Series X has been steadily sold across the UK. A global shortage of microprocessors, coupled with local and international supply chain issues, has slowed production of the new console and left buyers wondering where to buy the new Xbox.
The cheaper and less powerful Xbox Series S is more readily available for purchase online, but the more advanced Xbox Series X sells out within seconds of new stock appearing. Knowing when and where the Xbox will be restocked next is the key to successfully getting one.
If you want to know where to buy an Xbox Series X in UK today, you have come to the right place. Our live inventory tracking blog will keep you up to date with the latest stock drops as they happen, as well as any news about planned replenishment dates and milestone events.

Xbox Series X is in stock at Game right now
You can buy Xbox Series X online at Game now, but only through the Xbox All Access pay-as-you-go program.
With Xbox All Access, rather than paying £ 449 for the console all at once, you pay 24 monthly installments of £ 28.99. This includes two years of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the game subscription service that gives you access to over 100 games on demand.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate typically costs £ 10.99 per month, making Xbox All Access slightly cheaper than buying the console and Game Pass Ultimate separately.
The program also requires passing a credit check with Klarna, the buy now-pay later service.

Xbox series X is available at select game stores
Although stock is now shrinking, the Xbox Series X has been available for purchase at physical game stores across the country since Wednesday last week.
You can check if your nearest branch still has stock available by entering your postal code here. The same one console per customer policy applies, and we hear that the retailer takes delivery orders for upcoming stock, as long as you make the request in person and not online.

When was the last time Argos restocked the Xbox Series X?
The game may be the hero of the moment, but we expect other retailers to receive shipments of the new console from Microsoft this week.
At the top of our list is Argos, which was last restocked on August 5th. Argos faithfully replenishes the console about once every four weeks, so now we’re waiting for another drop from Xbox.
The best way to buy an Xbox Series X from Argos is through the app. Add the console to your Wish List, which lets you slip the Xbox into your shopping cart ahead of time for quick checkout when the time comes.

Does AO have the Xbox Series X in stock?
Let’s go over a few other retailers, and when we predict they’ll restock the Xbox.
AO last restocked the Xbox Series X on the first day of September and before that on August 3, which puts the retailer in a nice little monthly replenishment. groove.
As tidy as that is, that means we’re less likely to see the Xbox restocked at AO through early October, in about two weeks.

When will Smyths Toys restock the Xbox?
Smyths Toys restocked the Xbox Series X for the last time on September 9, although this was almost a tiny drop – we estimate less than ten consoles were sold before the shutters closed.
Prior to that, on August 10, Smyths Toys had Xbox stock to pick up from stores nationwide.
It’s worth visiting your local branch if you pass by to find out about inventory.

‘Halo Infinite’ themed Xbox sold out everywhere
The game and the Microsoft Store have both sold pre-orders for the recently revealed Limited Edition Infinite halo Xbox Series X Theme Pack (£ 479.99, Microsoft Store). It shouldn’t surprise you that this rare Xbox is also impossible to find in stock online.
The branded box celebrates 20 years of Master Chief and features “a custom console design printed with stars seen from the surface of Zeta Halo – spanning the fan behind a blue Cortana-inspired vent.” So far, no retailer outside of Game and Microsoft’s official store has offered pre-orders.
The Infinite halo The Xbox Series X theme will launch on November 15.
