JioGames Announces Chhota Bheem Mobile Game for Android


JioGames will launch a new game called Chhota Bheem on its platform. The new game will be introduced in collaboration with Green Gold Animation Pvt. The launch will coincide with the summer vacation period in Indian schools. The game is based on the popular show Chhota Bheem

Chhota Bheem game will be available to play on JioGames app. The app can be downloaded on Android smartphones as well as TVs that use Jio Set-top Box.

Chhota Bheem is the longest-running anime series in India, according to a joint statement from the two companies. The show aired for over a decade. Green Gold Animation, the studio behind the title, has been creating content for over 15 years. The studio has over 11 IPs and is also behind the only Netflix Original anime show in India.

Srinivas Chilakalapudi, Chief Strategy Officer of Green Gold Animation, said, “We are very happy to partner with Jio and be present on JioGames. JioGames, with its presence on all devices and their ecosystems, provides a great platform for our top performing kids IP which includes India’s favorite anime show – Chhota Bheem and allows our fans to connect with their favorite characters on many other devices. We will be launching 5 hyper casual games and adding many more very soon.

What is JioGames?

JioGames aims to become a one stop hub for games in India. The main stakeholders are the players, the game publishers, the spectators, but also the communities of players. JioGames is present on multiple devices such as smartphones, feature phones, home games via set-top box, it offers live streaming, esports and solutions and it also enables games powered by cloud technology. Thanks to this technology, players will not have to download and install the game on their respective devices. They just need to access the subscription to play it. The application is downloadable on Android smartphones.
